Method

My approach to design is rooted in collaboration. Here’s the basic framework you can expect.

1. Quick Discovery Chat

First, we’ll have a conversation to see if we’re the right fit. No pressure, just a quick chat to get a feel for each other’s approach and goals.

2. Statement of Work & Contract

If we decide to move forward, I’ll outline the scope of work, pricing, and timeline in a clear, no-surprises agreement. Once you’re on board, I’ll send over a contract and an invoice for a 50% deposit—this secures your spot on my calendar.

3. Deep Discovery

Now the real work begins. This stage is all about alignment and insight, making sure we’re building from a strong foundation. Depending on the size of your project, this might be a simple discussion or a more structured deep dive, but key elements include:

  1. Understanding your brand: What drives you? What’s your story? What’s your vision for this project?
  2. Researching your audience: How do people currently perceive you? What signals tell them they’re in the right place?
  3. Developing a strategy: We’ll explore visual directions, clarify goals, and identify the right creative approach.
  4. Brainstorming & ideation: If you have a vision, we’ll build on it. If you’re unsure, we’ll shape one together.

4. Concept Development

With the groundwork in place, I’ll start translating ideas into visual language. This is the sketching and experimentation phase, where I explore multiple directions and distill them into two or three strong concepts.

5. Presentation & Feedback

You’ll see the initial concepts and choose the one that speaks to you. This is an interactive step—your feedback helps refine the direction before we move to the next phase.

6. Refinement & Collaboration

Once we’ve landed on the core design, we’ll fine-tune the details together. I’ll incorporate your input, adjusting and polishing until the final version feels just right.

7. Finalization & Delivery

After your approval, I’ll package everything in the formats you need—files for print, a published website, or physical deliverables. I make sure your design is ready to roll out seamlessly across all platforms.

8. Testing & Follow Up

Your project doesn’t end when I hit “send.” I check in post-launch to see how things are working in the real world. Design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about impact, and I want to ensure yours is getting results.

This process certainly will make your brand look amazing, but it’s also about creating something that elevates your message, resonates with your audience, and stands the test of time. We’re building a system to bring you real-world results. That’s why I’ll approach your project as a partnership in creativity, strategy, and respect. If that sounds like the kind of collaboration you’re looking for, let’s talk!
